I would like to invite you to our next monthly Beekeepers meeting on Monday, May 12th, 2014 at at 7p.m. at the Government Center, Room 58 (Basement Level), 800 Wilson Avenue, Menomonie (corner of 9th Street and Wilson Avenue next to the band shell).

Before our regular monthly meeting we will be doing an inspection of our club hive (weather permitting / no rain). If you are interested: come to the community gardens (south on 9th St., passed the road to Phelan Park) in Menomonie at 6pm. Bring along your veil, bee suit and gloves.

At our meeting John Sipple from the DACTP will be giving a presentation on
"Improving property for wildlife, including bees and birds in the 'transition zone' we live in.", plus he will give an update on the Pollinator Project.

Note: If you ordered your bees through the club this year, please return the cages (big cages only, you don't need to return the can or the queen cage) at the meeting.

Note 2: We have a booth at the Dunn County Fair (July 23rd - July 27th, 2014) again. We are looking for volunteers to work a few hours at the booth. There is sign up sheet online at . Please sign up for the time slot that you can work. We are looking for at least 2 people per time slot.
